John H.C. Barr was born February 6, 1860 to Pricilla Maxson Barr and John Barr in Wheeling, West Virginia. He married Valerie Vienna Lowmiller Barr whose Mother Mary Ann Purviance Lowmiller happened to be the daughter of his Mothers sister Sarah. John and Valerie had Mabel Bell, Susie Marie, Oscar N., Harry Merrill, Robert B. Barr, living in Steubenville, Ohio. He was a house painter. He died December 25 in 1932 and is buried in Union Cemetery, Steubenville, Ohio.
