Son of William C. and Elizabeth Burroughs.
Died: May 12, 1966
A Private First Class, Company B, 1st Battalion 503rd Infantry Brigade,
United States Army, he was the first soldier from Champaign County, Ohio, to be killed in action in Viet Nam. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was buried with full military honors.
Burial: Square 218, Lot 3, Site 1.
