Reverend John F. Lubiatowski
1892 - 1954
Organized Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Hyacinth's parishes in Toledo, Ohio. Pastor of St. Hyacinth's for 27 years, since its inception until his death. Ordained June 2, 1917 by Bishop Joseph Schrembs. Also served at St. Adalbert's and St. Mary Magdalene in Rossford. Was president of the Polish Aid Society of the 14th Ward and headed the Toledo branch of the Polish American Congress in a drive to subsidize displaced persons from Germany. Was also chairman of the Polish War Relief Society. His funeral Mass was celebrated by Bishop George J. Rehring.
