Reverend George A. Branigan
1873 - 1941
Pastor of Good Shepherd parish in Toledo from 1915 until death. Was born in New York City and was ordained December 23, 1899. Fr. Branigan came to Toledo after serving a year as assistant pastor at St. Agnes parish in Cleveland. His assignments in northwest Ohio included assistant pastor at St. Francis de Sales as well as pastoral assignments in Grafton, Kent, and Defiance, Ohio. The Requiem Mass was offered by Bishop Karl J. Alter.
