Elizabeth Marie Peckham, age 26, of Springfield passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2014, in her residence in Mt. Vernon. Born on November 9, 1987, in Springfield, Ohio, Elizabeth was a daughter of Kyle T. Peckham of St. Paris and Angela Sue Black of Dayton. She is survived by her two daughters, Jaylyn Jean Peckham and Journey Marie West, and friend Jason Looney. She is also survived by a sister, Ashley Carter of Lancaster, Ohio, a brother, Cory (Sidney Snapp) Peckham of St. Paris, five nephews, Skyler, Jay, Austin, Carter and Chayse, maternal grandparents, Wilma (Morris) Lavender of Middleton and Roger Black of Piqua, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Richard and Beverly Peckham. Elizabeth attended Piqua High School and was pursuing a nursing degree whilst working as an STNA in a nursing home. She attended the Renewed Strength Church in Westville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. in the Renewed Strength Church, 4194 U.S St Rt 36, Westville, Ohio, with Reverend Mark Hackworth presiding. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, N. Heck Hill Road, St. Paris, Ohio.
