Born May 1847 in Kingsville, Ashtabula, Oh, son of Asil And Asenath Bonnell Shaw. Married 3 Aug 1870 to Henrietta Olin, the couple had two children. Married second wife Sarah Ann Rugg, 3 May 1884 in Ashtabula, Oh, the couple had five children.
Died 3 Jun 1902, Sheffield Center, Ashtabula Co, Oh.
Civil War Veteran
Orson Shaw served in Company D, 27th Ohio Infantry before enlisting on 29 March 1864 in Company H, 3rd Battalion, 18th US Infantry and later Company D, 2nd Battalion, 18th US Infantry (Comapny D, 27th US Infantry. He served along the Bozeman Trail at Fort C F Smith, Montana until 29 March 1867.
