Alva Clayton Pendleton, born July 6, 1917, Radcliff, son of Daniel Edward Pendleton and Grace Maude Pierce; one of 5 children

Alva Clayton married Ada Alberta Potts, born Dec 8, 1915, Radcliff, daughter of Pearl Carl Potts and Grace Ann Roof, on Oct. 12, 1940.

Alva died March 20, 1970, at People's Hospital in Mansfield, 52Y, an Army veteran of World War II, and employed by Richland Shale Brick Co. of Mansfield.

He is survived by his wife, four sons, one daughter, one brother, Jay Elmer of Radcliff, two sisters, Mrs. Alma Louise Vititoe of Radcliff, and Mrs. Eleanor Faye Barnes of Radcliff. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raymond Burns Pendleton in 1966.

Ada Alberta Potts Pendleton died May 8, 2015, Mansfield, 99Y; she is buried at Mansfield Memorial Park.

Daniel Edward (1883-1966) and Grace Maude (1887-1966) Pendleton are buried at Radcliff Cemetery.

Jay Elmer (1920-1995) & Lucille Kathryn (1920-1986) Pendleton are buried at Radcliff Cemetery.

Alma Louise Pendleton Queen Sizemore Vititoe (1911-1980) is buried at Radcliff Cemetery.

Eleanor Faye (1920-1992) and Raymond Clair (1915-1985) Barnes are buried at Radcliff Cemetery.
