Harry William Speraw, Sr. was born to Prosper Dalien Speraw and Margaret Ellen Willige on October 22, 1899 in Wellston (Jackson Co), Ohio. He married Gladys D. Dunfee June 9, 1920 in Jackson, Ohio. They had three sons: Harry William Speraw, Jr., Robert Donald Speraw, and James Roger Speraw. Harry died September 10, 1977 in Gallipolis, Ohio. He is buried next to his wife in Ridgewood Cemetery.
