James was the son of Joseph and Isabella (Lindsay) Coffman born 13 Jan 1802 in Ohio and died 23 Jun 1851 in Gallia Co., OH.
On 15 Aug 1822 in Belmont Co., OH he married Mary Brooks. They had at least one child.
This stone was found lying on the ground at the base of a tree. This cemetery is long neglected, back in the woods of what was once James Coffman's farm.
